Flag of France, adopted in 1794. It was the official flag of five French Republics (1792-1802, 1848-1852, 1870-1940, 1946-1958, 1958- ), two French Empires (1802-1814/1815, 1852-1870), a Transitional French Government (1944-1946) and the Orleanist July Monarchy (1830-1848).
